Bird photography with Nikon Z9 in the Arctic | Amazing cliffs and a fox encounter!

Join professional wildlife photographer Tom Mason for some bird photography with the Nikon Z9. Whilst in the Arctic region of Svalbard, on expedition with Oceanwide, get behind the lens with Tom as he heads out to shoot the incredible bird cliffs and catches up with the local wildlife, sharing tips and thoughts from his shooting process.

Hey guys I hope you are all well! I'm back with EP3 of my Svalbard series and today was one of my favourite parts of my expedition with Oceanwide, the these incredible seabird cliffs! With over 60,000 pairs of guillemots on these towering faces it was certainly a great location to shoot, where much of my experience from many years at home in the UK working with seabirds came in handy! I had such a great morning with some wonderful image making opportunities and with the Arctic fox showing up the icing on the cake. I worked to craft something a little different with the fox, taking a risk at a key few moments to try and bag a more unique image, that I certainly think paid off!
