In this video, titled "Whiteford Lighthouse Landscape Photography," I set out to capture stunning images of the iconic, and frankly, awesome-looking, Whiteford Lighthouse.
A couple of weeks ago, my good mate Lee and I took a short road trip to Wales. My main goal was to photograph this incredible lighthouse, located on the northwestern tip of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. What started as a single trip quickly turned into three! Trip One – Total disaster. We got lost twice, and when we finally found our way, Lee’s electric bike chain snapped. We ended up walking back to the vans, about two miles with a dead e-bike in tow. Not fun. Lee had to drive an hour away to get it fixed. Trip Two – I headed out solo early in the morning, aiming to shoot the lighthouse at high tide. Conditions were perfect… until I realised I’d forgotten my filters. Muppet! Trip Three – Let’s just say this one went a bit better, but you’ll have to watch the video to see how it turned out.
