This video showcases the process of capturing artistic, fine art landscape photographs of the charming Saint Monans Pier. While on a recent journey to Scotland, I made an impromptu visit to capture the beauty of Saint Monans. Positioned in the East Neuk of Fife, Saint Monans is a captivating fishing village. To a casual observer, it may appear as a quaint coastal town. However, to a keen photographer, Saint Monans presents an intriguing photography opportunity. I'm talking about a concrete structure in the sea. Its distinctive shape carries a certain allure that I find romantic. This so-called lump of man-made concrete, believe it or not, is ideal for long exposure and artistic photography. Although I had visited the area on two previous occasions, this was my first attempt to create fine art photographs there. I am genuinely pleased with the outcome and hope that you like them too.
