I've got a new gadget! Every landscape photographer needs one of these regardless of whether you've got a full blown camper rig or just a small car. Not only does all of my camera gear get a full charge but I'm able to cook a full English breakfast on the go! Let me take you on a landscape photography adventure to one of my favourite locations in Nova Scotia, the Five Islands in the Bay of Fundy. After a rough start, I finally find my mojo with some experimentation with extremely long exposures. Ever wondered what a 45-minute exposure looks like? Wonder no more as I explain my idea and then my thought process on this bizarre looking composition under the stars. It turned out way better than I expected. Amanda gets refused the joys of my desert so decides to eat a sausage about it, she knows how it looks. I also reveal my plans to take her on a surprise visit to Scotland but has she forgotten her passport? Will I make it back in the dark before the famously dangerous high tide cuts me off and will the medium format sensor in the Hasselblad X2D burn out during a 45-minute exposure? There's really only one way to find out.
