In this video, I hiked up Dale Head in the Lake District straight into the path of a massive storm. Weather warnings were everywhere, but I went anyway… A couple of weeks ago, I found myself chasing a massive storm into the heart of the Lake District. The forecast was wild, high winds, heavy rain, and an amber weather warning to top it off. Most people would head for cover… I decided to head for the summit of Dale Head. My plan... Photograph a sunset and sunrise, and then see out the storm from the top of the mountain. Don’t worry, I wasn’t about to camp right on the peak if there was any real risk of lightning. But still… it wasn’t exactly a sensible idea. 😁😁 True to form, the trip didn’t go quite the way I imagined. I hope you like the video
